With deep experience across the construction, engineering and infrastructure sectors, Kyna combines strong legal capability with a practical understanding of how major projects operate.
Her academic background further gives her a unique understanding of the construction industry, holding a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore and Bachelor of Law from the Australian National University. Kyna has also been recognised as a Rising Star in the Doyle’s Guide 2022.
Having worked closely with contractor clients through project secondments, Kyna developed firsthand insight into project delivery, commercial pressures and the realities of large-scale construction work. This experience underpins her grounded and solutions-focused approach.
Since entering the profession, Kyna has advised principals, contractors, subcontractors and consultants on contract drafting and negotiation, Security of Payment matters, project delivery issues and complex disputes. She has worked on major projects, and has experience across litigation, arbitration, expert determinations and adjudication.
